David “Hi Def” Tuscher joins team APB!

We’re proud to add David “Hi Def” Tuscher to the APB team of artists and musicians.

American native Hi-Def began his musical journey primarily as a singer, lending his voice to local RnB/soul acts. After winning a few local competitions as a part of the RnB group, Soul Ryders, he decided to focus his energy on freelance writing, mainly focusing on arts and entertainment reviews, because he didn’t feel that pursuing music was a realistic option for maintaining lasting success throughout his life.

However, through a twist of fate, in 2007 Hi-Def ended up in the Czech Republic, settling into Prague, where he soon found himself in love with the local music scene, as well as the city itself. He was subsequently introduced to Bronx, NY native Nironic, who was impressed by Hi-Def’s rapping ability. After touring with Nironic as his Hypeman in support of Nironic’s “Chronicles of a Nomad” album, Hi-Def began to venture out on his own musically, garnering the attention of hip-hop megaproducer, DJ Wich.

In 2009 the two began feverishly working on their own collaborative effort. To date, their teamwork has produced three notable singles receiving significant radio airplay: “It’s All Up to You (Take My Hand)”, “In My Life”, and “I’m Comin’ Home”. The hip-hop/RnB/electro inspired album, “Human Writes,” was released in November 2009. Hi-Def is also an up-and-coming songwriter, and he’s currently penning songs for labelmates Embassy, Skoop’s progressive rock act. He’s also currently working with DJ Wich and DJ Mad Skill, a prominent hip-hop producer out of Germany, on his next album, slated to be released this fall.
